Bob Heger founded BizReady Brokers (now BizReady, Inc.) in 2005

He has more than 40 years of comprehensive business experience across a range of industries. He has experience in hospitality, as a real estate broker and has been involved in motel and shopping center ownership. Bob also designed/developed single-family residences and high-end condominiums.

As a certified business broker, Bob’s most important role is that of intermediary between buyers and sellers; he also acts as facilitator between third parties, including landlords, leasing agents, governmental agencies (local and state), finance sources and escrow companies.

Lee Sheaffer earned a CBI Designation in 2018.  CBI, Certified Business Intermediary, is a credential granted by the International Business Brokers Association to “individuals who complete required course work, pass an extensive competency exam, and agree to uphold IBBA’s Professional Standards and Code of Ethics”.

Lee has a practical, working knowledge about a wide range of small business functions. She has spent more than 30 years working in, for and with small businesses as employee, manager, owner and consultant. In 1997, after 15 years as a self-employed business owner, she began consulting with small businesses. Her focus was to help them establish business processes created efficiencies, saved time and increased value and profit. She applies those same skills helping business owners get the best value for their business.

  • Lee is a licensed real estate broker (BRE#00689023). She’s worked in real estate development, from small fixer-upper projects to a community shopping center with more than 50 tenants. Her financial skills and management experience are put to great use in buying and selling businesses.
  • As an owner of a restaurant and bar where she worked for more than seven years, Lee eventually held every position in this 200-seat full-service facility.
  • She has worked in a consulting capacity for a firm that provided part-time CFO services to rapidly growing and troubled businesses; as a California CPA firm that specialized in sales and use taxes; and as controller for a chain of specialty medical clinics.
